So as I think I posted AF turned up. I can't remember what night it was, Tuesday I think. But it is now Friday and she's left.
The thing that annoys me is that 1) she came late, and 2) I had 90% dark brown discharge and only 10% fresh blood. Whats up with that? What does that mean? What is my body doing?!
Grrr. Thinking perhaps that doctors appointment might be needed more than I thought.
Sounds like the blood might have been building up since af came late and the brown would have been old. More than likely your body attempted to start menstruating when it was supposed to but couldn't for some reason and the new blood turned to old in your uterus. Then the new would have been after the old. That's my theory lol I may be wrong but I do know that brown blood means it's old. That happens to me too if I'm later than I expect to be. But a doc appt couldn't hurt for sure! :-) So sorry it wasn't this month either. I know how upsetting it is when you know af is about to show up and doesn't so you get your hopes up just a little only to have them let down hard when she does show up! Hope next month is it for you (and me too!) I'm still waiting to O for this cycle but I'm not on any meds so we're not getting any hopes up.
